Behind the Scenes

The first project this term began with an exploration of textiles. For a change, the concept came about with ease as it had to do with Identity. A very familiar topic to me. So time was spent instead, playing with different material, techniques, combinations of colors, layers, transparency....again, elements that seem to continually emerge in my work.




much fun was had and then it was time to bite the bullet and begin the actual work. Challenging myself to a larger scale than usual. Needless to say, experimenting along the way...to the very end, in fact.




quite the jump from my previous work, must it be said.
