I think it is an easier life when you are skinny and beautiful.
Not too skinny, though.
Not too beautiful.
Too skinny is not appealing. A cute figure however, means that you can look great wearing the basics (jeans, a fitted tee, and cute shoes, especially if you have tiny feet). And all this without the frantic morning ritual of trying on a gazillions outfits, seeking the one that makes you look the least chubby and shabby.
And then there is beautiful. Now, being beautiful can be a tad tricky. If you are too attractive, you can easily be disregarded, misjudged, deemed incapable. Whatever insecurities others may have get bestowed upon you exponentially.
But, when you have that soft, beautiful, approachable look, the world is in your hands. Amazingly, people let their guards down, open their hearts and wallets and inexplicably want to please you, however they can. It can be evidenced by the random discount at the store or the clerk's attention to you when there are 10 other people waiting. It may be that whilst wearing those cute stilettos, you may have stepped on a man's foot, accidentally drawing blood, but "no pasa nada". He will still smile at you and say it's ok as he rushes off to the ER.
Nonetheless, why have I brought this up? Well I was thinking...if we were all skinny and beautiful.
Not too skinny.
Not too beautiful.
Maybe we could all live happily together.
I'll break it down. If people didn't have to fight the war of dressing every morning, they would be a much happier person. And if everyone was the nice kind of beautiful, people would treat each other kindly and generously. With happiness, kindness and generosity, how could we not have peace?!
Enough said!
